Description
Skyscraper backed up, still retching from the effects of the Stinking Cloud spell. Her opponent was still wreathed in electrical arcs and sparks from the massive short circuit Skyscraper has caused with her impromptu water jet. The villainess took repeated deep breaths, trying to clear the last vestiges of the noxious gas from her lungs. As she watched, Technomancer rolled forward away from the exploding transformers and started to get to her feet. The weakened giantess looked around as she considered her next move.
Technomancer groaned in pain as she rolled out of the puddle of water. Smoke and steam rose from her cloak and armor as she struggled to get to her feet. The suit's back up computer was babbling in her ear, reciting a litany of damaged systems. The holographic heads-up-display was also showing significant damage the armor and the suit's systems. Claire silenced the computer as she began to reroute several key systems in an attempt to restart them. As she rebooted the suit's comm system her husband's voice crackled to life in her earpiece.
"Claire, are you receiving this zzzzzzzzzz. Can you kkkkkkkkkkkk."
"Sam! Sam, you are breaking up. I'm OK. I'm not hurt badly, more shaken up than hurt. The suit has taken a beating, I'm at about 50% of normal capacity. I'm looking at the remaining spells in memory storage. I'm going to try one of the more powerful attack spells. I am taking this bitch out. Do you copy? Sam?"
"Receiving you kkkkkkkkkkkk Don't risk the zzzzzzzzzz. I am sending in the security teams! ETA three zzzzzzzzzz.
Skyscraper turned her head at the sound of sirens. With her height she could see several teams of security vehicles racing towards the shipping yard. "Damn it!" she cursed. "The blue bitch must have called in reinforcements," Robin thought to herself. With her diminished size, the giantess wasn't sure she had the strength to fight off both her opponent and the security teams converging on her location. Making up her mind, she sprinted towards the truck containing the equipment Kim Paler wanted.
Technomancer scanned the lists of spells remaining in the CPU's damaged memory. So far she had tried to limit collateral damage but she was in no shape to let this fight drag on. Claire wasn't about to let the villainess hurt any of the approaching Yoyodyne security forces. If that meant taking Skyscraper down hard, Claire found she had no objections to that. Selecting an offensive spell from the computer, she prepared to attack.
Reaching the truck, Robin concentrated on her powers. She felt the familiar sensation of shrinking as she returned to her normal height. Skyscraper took the teleportation beacon from her belt and pressed a sequence to activate it. She swore as she saw the protein re-sequencers she needed on the ground on the other side of the yard. At least Kim would get the gear she wanted; the mission wasn't a total loss.
Claire was surprised to see Skyscraper running away. The villainess ran to the truck she had dropped earlier. Before Technomancer could activate her spell, both Skyscraper and the truck vanished in a flask of white light. "Hwin dan!," she swore in Chinese .

Well that's it folks, the fight between Skyscraper and Technomancer is over. Skyscraper got away with only half the stuff she intended to steal. Unfortunately it wasn't equipment she needs for her experiments. Well at least Kim Paler will be happy.
Technomancer is battered and bruised but at least she prevented all of Yoyodyne's goods to be stolen. More importantly, she showed Yoyodyne has a defender and Skyscraper better think twice before trying to steal anymore Yoyodyne technology.
There will be an epilogue for this story. Stay tuned for that.
