We have buff Meteorologist Lisa Green delivering the weather forecast for North America when her shirt rips during the live broadcast shown all across Canada.
YES! That's why I'm so glad I posted that tutorial. I love seeing other folks make genuine clothes ripping without clipping.
I think you did great on varying the strand lengths to make it look like its assymetrically bursting apart. I can't wait to see you try and use it for more detailed clothes bursting! *imagines Lisa trying to cover herself and accidentally flexing out of her blouse*
hehe, she makes me want to move to Canada to see the pretty weather girls .
Also, the dialogue and expression on her face just complete the scene, as well as using the weather map as your backdrop.
I'm glad the clothes ripping was simple and easy to follow. I need to make an addendum to it already. You know how sometimes clothing has like an inch of space above it if you erase the clothing on an edge like you do in the example above? You can use the liquify filter on the edges to make the cloth look like it's bursting apart.
Pretty much what you did with the threads on the left hand part of the rip, except you can make the whole cloth fly up. Erase the crazy-ness around it (because you'll have a perfectly normal looking picture underneath it) and viola! More clothes bursting

All joking aside, I can't wait to use your updated clothes ripping tutorial. Lara Croft will appreciate it also.
